Vinci is a smart headphone developed by Inspero Inc. It is he first smart headphone with artificial intelligence. They launched a Kickstarter campaign in November of 2016 and quickly met their goal. They received 4,885 backers and reached well beyond their goal of $50,000 and made $987,384.
The Vinci Headphones are super futuristic. Other than the touch screen on the sides they are completely wireless and controlled by your voice and powered by cloud technology. You don’t even need your mobile phone to listen to music. Since the headphone is heavily based on the users voice they are equipped with dual-mic noise reduction technology. This filters out the ambient noise and improves voice recognition.
These headphones are truly smart. Vinci can pick up on your body’s vitals, activity listening habits to make real time suggestions for music. These headphones have everything. Runners will appreciate the built in accelerator, gyrometer, proximity sensor, optical heart rate sensor, GPS and compass. So you can literally be on a run and ask Vinci for your heart rate and it can tell you.
A simple swipe forward or back on the headphones switches the tracks and up and down adjusts the volume. They also come with built in storage of 16 to 32GB. The wireless charging and the responsive touch screen really make this a futuristic headphone. They are noise cancelling and can block out brash surrounding noise. You can also turn on their audio transparency mode. Audio transparency allows you to hear important ambient noise around you such as a car horn or bike horn. It’s a handy feature to keep runners safe.
It is great to see a headphone company introduce so much up to date technology in a design that works. The Vinci headphones are appealing for us looking for original and technologically impressive audio equipment. They definitely have a lot of cool features and at the very least a great conversation starter.
